Description:

Learn the very profitable DXInOne and E-Currency Exchange business and start building your portfolio today and help secure your financial future.

Content:

I'm sure you've seen the e-currency exchange websites that have popped up all over the internet in the past few months. Since e-commerce is such a huge market, and continues to grow by the hour, there will always be a need for e-currency exchange.

With the help of companies such as DXInOne, normal folks like you and me are now able to participate in this very lucrative business and profit from the activity in this ever expanding market. Once only available to brokers with deep pockets, e-currency has now hit the mainstream and in the process, has started making average people lots of money. The e-currency exchange business is absolutely one of the best new business opportunities many of us have seen in years.

E-Currency Exchange is the exchange of one e-currency for another. E-currencies are the most efficient form of instant payments available for personal and business use worldwide. PayPal, INT Gold, e-Gold, e-Bullion, etc. are all forms of e-currencies. E-Currencies are a form of currency that are optimized for internet use and are instantly transferable internationally. E-Currencies are based in value to some form of hard currency or precious metals and have so many benefits over conventional payment systems such as credit cards, that more and more online merchants are turning to e-currencies for their daily transactions.

Every month, millions of people from all over the world exchange one e-currency for another when doing online business transactions. This is a service you can now be a part of, and make a very nice living at the same time. For many years, this business was only open to experienced and wealthy traders, but now, with the DXInOne e-currency trading system, average people are now able to perform this service, constantly building their portfolios and generating fantastic profits each and every day.

This business is not a get rich scheme, MLM, Ponzi or any one of those money losing programs. ECurrency Exchange is a real business and you will need to work with this every day. You can skip a day or two, but the more effort you put in, the more income you will make. Once you learn the system, you can work about 15-20 minutes each day, to maintain your account(s). Also beware of all the false information about this business of making $10,000 a week or retiring in 6 months. This will not happen. The e-currency exchange business is an investment that takes time to grow and in time you will be able to enjoy monthly payouts from the system for as long as you maintain your portfolio.

If you think this is a business you would like to learn more about and possibly get involved in, please read as much as you can about it before jumping in. You need to know what you're doing or you will limit the amount of money you can make. There are lots of great free resources on the internet to learn this business on your own. There are also lots of high priced courses that offer specialized training. You can decide which is best for you if you decide to learn this great business opportunity.

Joint Venture Power

Content:

Dr. Bill Nieporte uses the following illustration to describe the power of Joint Ventures:

Fact: Two Horses Can Pull About 9,000 Pounds

Question: How many pounds can FOUR horses pull?

If you are like me, your initial response was to say that four horses can pull 18,000 pounds. Sounds reasonable--but its wrong! Four horses can actually pull over 30,000 pounds. What's the difference? It's something called synergy.

Synergy is the energy or force created by the working together of various parts or processes. Synergy. That's the power behind what is commonly called Joint Venture Marketing.

One plus one = three, four or seven! Together, we can accomplish our dreams very fast. The key is to find honest, capable and successful people to work with. Where does one find good people to approach for Joint Ventures? I made the DollarMakers Joint Venture Forum to be one such place. You can check it out at www.jvwisdom.com.

Log Book, Schmog Book

Description:

Truckers have to keep a detailed record of their daily activities- it's called a log book. But do the ever-changing hours of service rules really make for safer truckers? Safe truckers are safe, regardless of hours of service rules. Unsafe truckers are unsafe. Lawyers use logbooks as "proof" of violations, but you just can't legislate sleep or safety.

Content:

Suzanne At Coops

Every truck driver knows what a log book is. It’s a grid-style graph they use to keep track of the hours spent driving, working, off duty and in the sleeper birth. It is lovingly referred to as the comic book, funny pages, or cheat sheet.

The rules are confusing. They changed near the end of 2005 and the powers that be in Washington (none of whom, I’m sure have ever driven an 18-wheeler) haven’t decided if these changes are the final draft. We used to be able to drive 10 hours before needing an 8 hour break. Now we can drive 11 hours (not straight, of course) but must take a 10 hour break.

To be quite honest, I don’t know all the details of the new rules, but I’m sure if I’m ever involved in a trucking accident, the lawyers will fill me in.

Back when the original rules were first made law, trucking was nothing like it is today. Today, the over-the-road trucks have sleepers that are more like rolling studio apartments than the coffin sleepers from back in the 60s and 70s. Back then, a driver was liable to sleep on a board propped between the driver and passenger seats. The roads were nothing like the super highways we have today. Today, we have satellite radio to pass the time, air ride cabs and air ride seats. We can stop in at the mini-mall truck stop and get a decent shower and a meal. But the big change in the log book rules was 1 extra hour we are allowed to drive, followed by 2 extra hours we have to sit around and twiddle our thumbs.

You have to realize, my commute from “home” to “work” is about 2 feet. I can drive in sweat pants and an undershirt if I want to. I don’t have all the distractions that a normal job may entail. To be honest, most truckers want to get down the road, get it over with and get home. But they are often forced into a situation where they either have to park for a 10-hour break when they are only a few hours from home or lie on their log books.

I personally think log books have nothing to do with safety. They are useful in theory, but, ultimately, you just can’t legislate sleep. Ultimately, safe drivers will pull over when they are tired and unsafe drivers won’t- no matter what their log books say. Ultimately, common sense can’t be gleaned from a sheet of carbon and 2 sheets of paper.

I have been in a number of situations where my log book said I had plenty of hours, but I was just dead tired. I have been in other situations where I felt well-rested and wanted to get down the road but my log book said I had to stop for a few more hours. My most recent struggle is the 14-hour rule. Once I start work for the day, I have to stop 14 hours later unless there is a 10-hour break in there somewhere. So, If I drive for 5 hours, take a nap for 4 hours, eat dinner and get a shower, I only have 3 hours driving time left on the 14-hour clock. So, maybe the rule-makers don’t want me to take a nap.

I have made a 15-minute mistake on my log and been treated like I just drove over the DOT officer’s favorite neice. 15-minutes. I drive safe. I refuse to drive tired. I treat the motoring public like friends- even if they drive without sense. But if there is a mistake in my log, I am a some sort of criminal.

Long haul trucking is a hard job. The lifestyle is rough on the driver. There are good drivers and there are bad drivers, and not one driver will tell you that the log book makes the difference.

Take a Look Laid Off People Who Love Money!

Description:

Let’s face it. Getting laid off really sucks! Why do bad things happen at the worst possible times in our lives? I know when I got laid off I started to think: My Lord how am I going to pay my bills, get gas money to look for another job, and tell my wife!

Let’s face it. Getting laid off really sucks! Why do bad things happen at the worst possible times in our lives? I know when I got laid off I started to think: My Lord how am I going to pay my bills, get gas money to look for another job, and tell my wife! Things started to look very grim at this point in my life. Financial strains are the major cause of failures in marriages and relationships today. Why is that? I think it is because we worry too much about money. I am looking back after my lay off and saying this. Going through the storm, I thought much differently.

I have made it my life’s passion since that time, to build an income and save some of it so that if this ever happens again, I will be prepared. One of the ways I do this is internet marketing. I don’t do it full time. I don’t worry about it, but the income is there. Once you learn how to market, the income will start to trickle in. The stream of income gets to flowing faster and faster. The amounts of payments get bigger and bigger. There are a lot of people out there that say that internet marketing doesn’t work. I am here to tell you that I know differently. I have made income from it. I continue to get income month after month. If it didn’t work this wouldn’t be so.

The problem most people face is training. Training is a major factor in your success doing internet marketing, making hamburgers, cleaning cars, building roads, delivering pizzas, or any other occupation that you can name. You are not a productive employee until you learn how to do the job and strive to improve yourself. Training is crucial.

In internet marketing there are a lot of people who promise you that they can teach you the latest, greatest method of getting the job done. These people most of the time have no proof because they have not even used the methods they are trying to sell you on. How many of you have had training on your first day on the new job. There is always someone who you learn better from because their teaching style agrees with your learning style. When you find this person, you excel and get better and better. This person shows you how to do the job simply and easily.

Friends, I am here to tell you that you have found that person in internet marketing. I am here to tell you about a training program for internet marketing being released by two people who actually use the methods they teach. They teach in a style that is readily learned by most everyone. They teach you real world applications. Their names are Kyle and Carson at Wealthy Affiliate. Their program is called Who Loves Money. It is in book format. What they have done is truly amazing. They have taken all of the strategies and techniques that they use for Wealthy Affiliate and other ventures and compiled them in to a training manual to help those who are struggling in their finances. Could this be you friend? This course will teach you how to create income from the internet with no money out of your own pocket. If I were you I would check it out. Take it for a test drive. See the proof. You will be glad you did. You may not even need to polish your resume ever again. We look forward to hearing from you. God Bless!

Reasonable Way To Start Work From Home Internet Business

Description:

The word " business " means that work from home is not a children´s play. It is not a hobby either, it is not a hype, not a non-professional work but serious profession.

Content:

A work from home starter makes wise if his attitude is that he´ll do a full-time work with slower speed but good motivation.

Most people will start work from home internet business as a part-timer handling their daily job, families, friends etc. at the same time. This means that the wisest attitude is to start slowly, slowly and slowly.

The most important thing is to start. That is a great decision. Slow speed and pro-attitude is an excellent, winning concept. The question is to learn a totally new profession. Do you think that you can do it in a week? I think you don´t, because everybody understand that nothing good will happen rapidly, ok, maybe lotto-winning.

Speed is a key factor, because many work from home starters have so huge hurry to earn big money that they cannot wait for the results. They wait them too early which means, they skip the whole project before the results start to come. A starter must understand the time-table. It is extremely important for his motivation.

Work from home internet business is NOT A SPEED CONTEST. It is a process of studying, trying and understanding a new profession. That means difficulties in the beginning, errors, money spent for nonsense stuff and massive amount of things that felt so good earlier but were wrong. This is the nature of the process so it is wise to understand it before the difficulties will appear.

Starter makes wisely if he will pick a longterm, solid affiliate program with good training and discussion forum. STEP BY STEP TRAINING IS IMPORTANT. Of course the program must belong to " legitimate work from home jobs " - category.

The role of the starter is to follow simple instructions and pick the right promotions. Even that is challenging. So " take your time " - attitude is healthy.

I think it is wise to think long term from the very beginning. Many short term promotions are costly but long term are free ( if you don´t calculate any price to your own work). I mean linking, article writing, list building, forum-writing etc.

Take link-building as an example. If done successfully and right, it will bring good traffic to your site and increase page rank in search engines. The same does article writing. Plus if a starter has a blog attached to his website, he´ll get fresh, original content on a regular basis.

The secret to success in work from home business is to do it slowly but regurlarly. Every week or even day something. Efforts will built results later on and a work from home starter has time to think and understand the new business.

To strictly following training lesson is important, because internet is full of work from home ideas and the grass looks greener on the other side...if a starter has not made up his mind. A starter must keep the direction and not waiting too rapid results. The healthy thinking in the beginning is that the work process itself is the result in the beginning.

Work from home internet business needs a lot of concentration. A starter must build up the " big picture " and see the role of it´s parts. Concentration means that the work must be done in peace and with slow speed. This attitude will also give you more pleasure because you understand that the results are not accidents but come from planned actions. That feels extremely good. Extremely good.

Sustainability—the Future is Here and It’s Full of Holes

Description:

Sustainable design is architecture that creates a minimal impact on the environment and makes maximum and intelligent use of the world’s dwindling resources. Read about a ground breaking new project--how it generates its own power and accomplishes being sustainable.

Content:

The future of building technology is here and it’s full of holes. The Swiss cheese exoskeleton shell of COR, the first sustainable, mixed use condominium in Miami, Florida is a hyper-efficient smart skin simultaneously providing the building structure, thermal mass for insulation, shading for natural cooling, terrace enclosures, armatures for energy producing turbines, and loggias for congregating at the ground level.

COR, represents a dynamic synergy between architecture, structural engineering and ecology. The design is not only revolutionary in sustainable terms, but in visual impact. The impression of this building is arresting even in light of the current architectural trend towards irregular, non-linear features exploding upon the recent architectural landscape.

The building rises 400 feet, and seems to float over the city as a futuristic and ethereal being, punctuated by a multitude of round Swiss Cheese holes, which at times come together to form a living bubble-on-pond effect.

The architect credits the developer for being receptive to the unusual design wherein the structure of the building is both the skin and an aperture to hold the wind turbines. Oppenheim notes that COR evolved from a complex architectural study including careful analysis of its site.

The surprise of the design arises from its functionality and its vision in creating an energy efficient sustainable building. Oppenheim states that he views building materials as opportunities to provide dual uses—for example, the skin of COR is not just cladding, it provides an armature for wind turbines, protection from the sun and forms an arcade at the ground level.

Rising 25 stories above Miami’s Design District, COR extracts power from its environment utilizing the latest in advancements in wind turbines, photovoltaic technology and solar hot water generation. With an estimated completion date of 2010, COR is 480,000 square feet, with 113 residential units ranging in size from 700 to 2,000 sf, with prices from $300,00 to 1 million. COR will have a café, 2 restaurants, office space and live work galleries.

Sustainable design is architecture that creates a minimal impact on the environment and makes maximum and intelligent use of the world’s dwindling resources. Sustainability and green design also includes creating healthy indoor environments.

Water is becoming the new frontier for concern, both through density and drought. Green and sustainable elements in COR include water harvesting, capturing rain water and roof run-off in cisterns, using filtration systems in recycling grey water produced from washing machines, dishwashers and other household and light business use, and filtering it for use again as irrigation.

The wind farm on the roof of COR will generate power-reducing dependency on electric power and saving energy by producing solar hot water. Energy efficient appliances with energy star features will be using less water overall. LED lighting will be used instead of incandescent, natural daylight will flood interiors through energy efficient glass, and the multi use building shell provides thermal mass for insulation and shading for outdoor terraces and cooking.

COR has been received with applause. Unanimously approved by the Urban Design Review Board of the City of Miami, the project represents the ideals fostered by Miami Mayor, Manny Diaz for its properties of green and ecologically sustainable sound design. Oppenheim is a part of Mayor Diaz’ Green Committee.

Oppenheim notes that this project may represent solutions for the concerns of global warming, dwindling resources such as land and water, and competition for fewer and fewer resources. Certainly it blazes across the new frontier of sustainability.

Best Home Business Ideas

Content:

It's a dream come true that these days a web business has many great tools in the fight to stay competitive in their field. However, one of these wonderful tools is the almighty Google search engine. They actually have what it takes to make your web business a success. Indeed, over 80 million visitors each and every month can pay testament to this fact. Google has turned out to be one of the largest search engines on the web today and they have perfect tools inplace to ensure this and likewise to your web business success.

Google takes the first few lines on your text and incorporate that into the search result when someone types in your keyword, this is how you develop page rank and popularity. They have excellent traffic monitors available to you when you use the Google service; this is great in knowing when you need to adjust your words to find more traffic. When dealing with Google, it is most important for you to make the first paragraph of your page the biggest impact statement. That is what is going to be seen on the search result by the viewer. You need to make sure that is what they see. This will prompt them to investigate your site. The more views you have to your website, the higher the traffic volume. This in turn gives you higher page ranking and popularity.

The best bet,is to have at least 8% of the words you use be keywords with about 250-300 words being used as your impact paragraph, This is what is going to be seen first by the viewer, therefore, you have to make it count. There is what is known as spiders that constantly view sites and record thier content to use as indexing, however, you never know when they will by surfing your site. You are not 100% certain that they will index your entire site on one trip to it, so you need to ensure that you optimize your pages. They will always start from the top of the page, this is why it is best to have the most impact near the top of the site. The best bet of ensuring that your entire site is crawled on by the spiders is to have your site on Google Sitemaps. Instant updating on the site indexing is one of the great perks that come with the Google Sitemaps.

The files saved are XML files and this is like having your very own direct link to Google. Basically adsense involves a third party advertisements sitting on your web sites pages and every time someone clicks on the site on your page and leaves you get paid for the adsense transfer. It is that simple profitable.

The Perfect Home Based Business and How to Start

Description:

Day by day people scour the internet looking for a home based business to set them financially free. What happens more often than not is that people end in worse shape than when they started.

Content:

Day by day people scour the internet looking for a home based business to set them financially free. What happens more often than not is that people end in worse shape than when they started. Why you ask? The answer is not so simple.

The key to finding a home based business starts with knowing yourself. That means knowing what you are good at and what you do not do well. You must also be honest with yourself when doing this. We would all love to be perfect in every aspect of life but the truth is we are not and we have to accept this fact. This is important because picking a business in which most of the tasks that need to be done are your strengths will increase your chances of success. For example let's say you are not much of a talker. You do not talk much to people who you do not know and you keep to yourself usually. You are however extremely organized and love to write. It would most likely be in your best interest to be an article writer or ghost writer. They do not require you to do much talking or go to meetings all the time.

The next thing you need to know is the product or service that you will be offering. The more you believe in your product or service, the more you will sell. Now before I go on there is a handful of people in the world that could sell ice to an Eskimo or sell water to a fish but these people are the exception rather than the rule. For most of us if we do not believe in what we are doing we will not reach the level of success that we desire. People will be able to tell if you believe in your product or not. So if you are looking at a network marketing company try being their customer for a couple of months before you join the business. Once you try the product or try the service then you will know how you feel about it. On top of that you will be more prepared to answer question about it because you have become familiar with it.

Once you picked a business that relies on your strengths and a product or service you can believe in you have to choose what your budget is going to be. Remember that most home businesses take at least months before you really start seeing results off so it is important to keep within a budget until then. If you decide to join a mlm you may have the type of sponsor that says you should buy this or buy that it will really help your business. Remembers that you need to stay within your budget. If the recommended items are out of your budget ask your sponsor to rank the items by importance. This way you can stay in budget and get the items most needed first.

OK now you have your business, our product, and your budget now you are ready to start your business. Just remember that it is a business and should be treated as such. Running a home based business can be more difficult than running a traditional business. Running a business from home offers many distractions; Kids, TV , your bed, etc. You could have followed this guide perfectly but mess this up and you will not succeed. If you do not take it seriously you will just be wasting money and wasting time and since how most people start up home based businesses to have more time and more money you would be defeating the purpose. Make sure the home office is secluded so that when you are working you cannot be distracted.

Now that you have your business running you must market it. Marketing is how you get customers. Now there are many forms of marketing such as newspaper ads, flyers, TV ads, mailing lists, pay-per-click ads, power-linking, and many others. How you market your business is up to you. Each technique has its own strengths and weaknesses. Obviously you will want to keep your budget in mind when picking a method of marketing.

Diversify your marketing as much as possible, and remember... the more people that see and know your business the more business you will do.

Small Business Start Up: Start On A Low Budget

Description:

Most people avoid risk, and never end up starting the business they've always dreamed of owning. But what if you could minimize the risk by lowering expenses. How low? Read on the find out...

Content:

A small budget is usually needed for a small business start up. No one can start even a small business with no money. However, if everything is planned out carefully, you will need a very moderate budget to start a small business.

There are certain tips discussed below that will help solo, micro, home based or service professionals to start up a business on a low budget.

Once you have decided on a profitable and well researched niche you can begin the start up process.

First of all you should set up a structure that can be sustained and at the same time grow with each day. This is also means that you have to set up a legal entity that is right for your business and which will protect you from incurring legal liability. At the same time it should offer the best tax advantages.

Focusing on the right banking relationship should be the next step. For this you need to have a business account. The fees for the services charged by the bank vary widely and depend on the policy of each bank. Therefore you should look around to see which bank provides a free business checking,

Next try to find the best options that are also low on cost for the marketing material you need to use initially. You will need a business logo, business cards and maybe a website and this has to be done at a minimum amount.

In fact, even if your business happens to be an online one you still need all of the above. However with the right resources and right knowledge these can be accomplished easily at a low price. But there is a tricky part, you must know what you have to put together and how to turn it into a great package complete with a website in order generate lots of sales and leads.

One thing you must be clear about is that you must not be conned into paying for a website that is merely a web brochure with no marketing material or traffic. These are costly mistakes that should be avoided.

Plan out in advance how much you need to put aside in the first six months as your marketing budget. The secret to get a good calculation is to know how exactly you can get investment returns on every dollar that you spent. This can be done if you can figure out how to reach the clients directly. Do not pay for marketing techniques that covers an audience that is too broad. Stick to a small specific audience. Figure out the most effective and least expensive way to reach them.

You must learn how to make the most of every penny that you use to market your product or services. You should follow a strategy that compels the targeted audience to take some action. It is all about converting the leads into deals. Once you are skilled at this, your business will start growing.

The marketing budget that you use initially can be low, however if it is used wisely and you track and measure the results, eliminate or change marketing tactics that do not work or keep a percentage of the money for reinvestments then your initial low marketing budget will actually finance itself.

The above mentioned points can really aid in helping a small business start up.

TODAY marks a new REVOLUTION!!!

Information, The Internet-Revolution...Information Marketing.

The playing field has been leveled, meaning, you can start as a virtual beginner (or what is fondly called a "newbie") and launch a 'star-status' career in just months, or even in days)AND, this field is widened by a border-less environment! You can sell stuff almost anywhere in the world- - -" the world is your global market place! "

The Internet opened wide the arena with millions of business opportunities. Many of these opportunities are legitimate, butothers are not. One of the opportunities that you may find online involves the buying of DIGITAL ASSETS, which we may call as private label rights. Let me begin by stating this here. . .

INFORMATION PRODUCTS at the Internet continues to be the BEST SELLER next only to physical products sold online. This is a multi-BILLION Dollar Industry and continues to grow by leaps and bounds! THEREFORE,
Having your own Info Product or line of Info Products is one of the best choices you can ever make in your career. It is easy to make money . . . YOU can. . .

But, there is a B I G PROBLEM . . .
and it's called product development or product creation.

Don't get me wrong, but, selling your own Info Product is too lucrative to be passed on just because of this barrier. You ask me, "What options do I get?"

So let's evaluate your best options possible:

Solution #1: Write or create your Own Info Product
-Creating your own Info Product demands a lot of time, writing skills, expertise, niche marketing research, and incredible knowledge on your part. And if you don't have the time or don't know HOW to do this, Then this is not the way for you to go.

Solution #2: Outsource or hire somebody else to write, create
-Hire experts to do the job... BUT, only if you can afford it. And if you don't have at least a few hundred dollars to trust someone else to do the writing for you, you will have to leave this option out.

Solution #3: Purchase Products With Resell Rights
-This can be a good and fast way to have instant products to resell and pocket 100% of the profits. The downside, however, is that you don't own the product. In other words, you can only do so much with the product as the ultimate copyright holder is the product author. OR,

Solution #4: Purchase Products With PRIVATE LABEL RIGHTS, PLRs
-Way to go!!! Let me explain to you how. . . this is the way to GO!

Why Spend More? Do More? SOLUTION = Private Label Rights

This is no longer a problem with PRIVATE LABEL RIGHTS!
The amount of money you need to invest will all depend on the person who is selling the rights to their product. Resell rights typically cost a few hundred dollars. Private Label Rights gives you an instant access to products without the hassle of Product Creation stuff involving research, development and creation.

While this may seem like a fairly large investment, it is nothing compared to what many other business opportunities require. Traditional businesses would require large amount of capital to create your "brick and mortar" business. While owning your own Info Product by way of purchasing PLRs is the cheapest and easiest way to do it. It is also important to note that you can easily recover your costs. This is because once you have obtained the private label rights to a product it is yours to alter and to sell.
And as long as you're creator of your own product, you own the full rights and in a real essence, you have the license to decide your own profit potential.

So What Can You Do With These Products?

Here are just some ideas:

- You can put your name on the products as the author! THIS IS POWERFUL!!!

- You can edit the contents, change the E-Cover, re-title the products, and include your very own back-end affiliate links! Or even change and publish the products offline!

- You can sell the products, individually or in a package at any price you wish! The profit potential is yours to decide!

- You can use the products as a bonus or as a giveaway.!

- You can include these products into a paid package and sell at a higher price!

- You can sell the products through auction sites like eBay!

- You can offer the (Master) Resell Rights - together or separately - to the products - and sell at a higher price! Or even resell Private Label Rights to the products at an even higher price!

As there are no restrictions imposed on these products, you decide how you want to use them in your favor to make sales and build your business!

And there IS so much more! ONLY your imagination is the limit. . .

This Time, YOU Cash - In!
YOU Earn. . .

One of the beauties of having your own Information Product is obviously making the sale instantly rather than having to wait for someone else to pay you your affiliate checks, and only a petty fraction of the product price on top of that.
It is 100% profits to your account...

This is the REAL power of owning PRIVATE LABEL RIGHTS!!!

It is the same as owning a piece of real estate property and earning a continual flow of residual income passively, ONLY, this is YOUR PIECE OF VIRTUAL REAL ESTATE!!! This time, YOU earn and own a piece of the Internet profits!

NOW, you can - - -

FIND out how YOU can instantly cash in. . .

Dedicated Employee

Description:

This is a real life true story about a man who worked for seventy two years with Los Angeles Public Transportation, only missed one day of work and continued to supervise of staff of eleven employees until he retired on his one hundredth birthday.

Content:

Public Transportation in Los Angeles, California which consists of the buses and the train systems is the responsibility of the MTA Metropolitan Transportation Authority previously known as the RTD Rapid Transit District.

Arthur Winston was born on March 22, 1906 in Oklahoma before it became a state. He worked as a Service Attendant Leader in the South Los Angeles, MTA Division that was named after him in 1997. Up to his final days he was responsible for a crew of eleven employees that cleaned, maintained and refueled the metro buses.

The United States Department of Labor indicated that he set the record as the most reliable worker they have on record. During his seventy two years of employment, he only missed one day of work when he took the day off to go to his wife Frances’ funeral in 1988.

In 1996 President Bill Clinton awarded him with an Employee of the Century citation for his work ethic and dedication.

He retired from the MTA on his 100th birthday, March 22, 2006 after seventy two years of service as an employee for the company. There are many people who cannot even make it seventy two days without missing one day of work.

His advice to kids was to just get up and go to work. He also said that you have to like your job in the first place.

He had plans to stay active in his retirement. Unfortunately, Arthur Winston did not get to enjoy very much time as a retired person because he died in April 2006 just a few weeks after he retired.

Top 10 Reasons Why Information Marketing Is The Best Business On Earth

Description:

You have no limits on your income, high profit margins, you don't have to create the product yourself, the business practically runs on autopilot once set up, has low start-up costs...

Content:

If you're considering building a business for additional income, part-time or full time, I believe your best option is building an information marketing business. Here are my top reasons:

1) You have no limits on your income

With most other business the more time you spend, the more you earn. And because you have a limit on your time, you limit your income also.

When you build a profitable marketing system, every time you put in 1$ to marketing you make 2, 3, 5 or even 10 dollars. Spend more on marketing, and you earn more.

2) You have high profit margins.

When you buy an information you don't pay for the cost of paper and ink, but for the positive impact that information might bring to your life.

How much would an day trader be willing to pay a winning stock tip? Thousands? Would he care if it is hand written on a napkin?

That's the beauty of it. They can easily be sold for 10 times the cost.

3) You don't have to create the product or be the expert yourself.

Do think it would be hard work to create a product?

Good news is, you don't have to create the product your self. You can interview an expert. The recording is a product. You can also license other people's products to resell.

The product is the easy part. The hard part is marketing.

4) Your business can run on autopilot, even while you sleep.

You can set up your marketing systems so that they run automatically. A sale can be made on-line when you're asleep or even at a holiday.

That's the same for offline sales, too. You can outsource everything. There are people who will take your orders on the phone for you, duplicate your products and ship them.

5) It has low start-up costs

You can start with a 10 page "report" that you write, buy the cheapest classified ad on local newspaper, and sell it for $5. I bet you can start it for less than $100.

One of the health newsletters I'm a subscriber of costs $67 per year, and it consists of 8 pages of information sent monthly.

6) It requires no license, education etc.

It takes years to be doctor and open your own clinic. You can decide today to become an information marketer, and you're in business today. Find a market, research what they want, and sell it to them. Easy.

7) You work once, get paid over and over again.

Sure, it takes some work to create a product, set up marketing... But you get paid for it again and again, as long as you can sell it.

It beats trading hours to dollars, even at high paid jobs. $100,000/yr makes $50/hr. If you sell a product for $100, 1000 sales a year beats that, because it can be done -very- part time.

8) You can do it anywhere in the world.

You can be anywhere in the world earning money. In fact, you can be on vacation in Hawaii and you\\\'ll still be earning money.

9) You can do it on any economic climate.

It is recession and depression proof. In every market, there are people willing to buy information. "How to make sure your business survives depression" "How to find a job while everyone else is waiting on the line"... Just a few ideas...

10) It's a business you can be proud of.

Sure, there are other ways to make lots of money fast. Like robbing a bank or printing counterfeit money. However, information marketing is the closest thing to printing your own money, without being illegal or immoral.

You're really doing people a favor by providing them the information they want.

Why is a Salesperson Like a Refrigerator?

Description:

Top sales people maintain a laser like focus combined with a strong desire to succeed.

Content:

Clayton Shold

Let me ask, have you heard the joke about the light being on inside the fridge? Top sales professionals, like fridges, are always "on".
Let me ask, have you heard the joke about the light being on inside the fridge? You know, where you were asked to open the door of the fridge and voila, the light was on. Now I know you know the light only comes on when you open the door. But the refrigerator is always on! It has to be to do its job.
Top sales professionals, like fridges, are always "on". This is especially true for those who need to prospect to find new clients.
One individual I know worked many years as an electrician for a major U.S. automobile manufacturer. At the suggestion of a good friend, he decided to pursue a sales career in the financial services industry. This was a pretty major change in vocation; he went from dealing with watts and volts to handling people's investment and insurance needs.
Was he a success? Well, in his first full year he shot up to becoming the top rep in North America for his company. To prove he was not a one hit wonder, he repeated this feat his second year, and yes, the third year too! To this day, he remains one of the top reps with his company.
So how did an electrician, now a salesman, become so successful? If you ask this modest man, he will say "It's simple really, you do the best you can for your client, and you always have to be on."
To meet this gentleman, you would know someone with an insatiable appetite for learning. He wanted to know everything he could about financial planning and the products he represented. He was a keen student of his sales manager and a constant observer of the successful reps around him. He was a sponge.
One day, I asked him what he meant when he said being "on". He told me "To be successful I have to meet a lot of new people. I have to be able to tell them quickly what it is I do and how I can help them." He went on to say, "I look at everyone as an opportunity." "When I go to the super-market I look for the longest line and stand in it, I know I'll have a chance to strike up a conversation with the person in front of me, and the person who comes behind me." Talk about captive audience.
I marvelled at one story he told me about when he went shopping for a bed cover and pillows. After he completed his purchase he thought, "I've done business with you, you should do business with me." He proceeded to book an appointment with the sales clerk who had sold him his pillows. He also asked if she would introduce him to her manager and the other sales clerks. He left the store that day with five appointments booked in his day timer.
Why? Because he was always "on".
Top sales people maintain a laser like focus combined with a strong desire to succeed.
Don't be as cold as a refrigerator, but do think about being "on" all the time.

Encouragement--Everyone Needs It

Description:

Everyone needs encouragement espcially children, elarn to encourage everyone.

Content:

Everyone needs encouragement. So many people in this world feel discouraged, pressed in, cornered, unworthy, unlovable, or completely overwhelmed by the circumstances of their lives. You can make a difference in one moment if you will honestly and sincerely encourage them.

Let them know that they are capable, that they can do the task before them. Adults, children and senior citizens all need to be encouraged. One way to do this is to talk with them, give them a clear picture of how you see them doing something well. Give them your vision when they don't have their own. Be gentle.

Encourage one moment and empathize the next. Let them talk about their dreams and how they used to be or in moments when they felt strong. Sometimes it is necessary to be firm or decisive about the positive picture that you hold of them. Don't waver in your thoughts, be sure that they will be able to do what they want and do it well. Encourage them to do it one step at a time. Praise these little accomplishments.

Encourage them to something a little more challenging. Keep recalling that vision of strength for them. Encourage the positive in them; don't let them have a self-pity party. People may not know what they want to do, and it is not your job to tell them what they should do. But you can encourage them towards what they like to do, what makes them joyful, what makes them feel strong and empowered. You can encourage them to make choices that feel better for them.

You can encourage anyone exactly where you are. If you are in school, or if you are working, find the positive right there. Sometimes a smile is all it takes. If they are feeling down, a hug can do wonders to make someone feel worthy or lovable. You can encourage with your words and your thoughts, by listening, by being a sounding board, by leading them with your own actions or way of being.

When you need to be encouraged, come to me, or go to another person who can offer encouragement to you. Don't go to anyone whom you know will condemn your actions or judge you. Go to the people with vision and strength of their own who are making some positive impact.

Every creature on this planet can be and needs to be encouraged at one time or another. Be that person who encourages others. Encourage with kindness, with love, by examples, with praise, with your words. It is as simple as saying " You can do this." To encourage is one of the greatest things that you can do for someone. This doesn't mean that you do their work for them.

For anyone to become everything for which they are capable they have to do it. They have the opportunity to embrace a new choice, a new way of being, and they have to walk through it. You can be with them every step of the way. You can uplift and strengthen by your words of encouragement. Also remember to encourage yourself. "I know you can do this." "Come on now, you can do this." One step out is all it takes to transform a situation, or yourself.

Step after step consistently will bring you into a new place. Only you or I can take that first step, and the second and the third. Sometimes you are the only person with words of encouragement for someone who is doing something outstanding or great. Great teachers or mentors need encouragement too; they can doubt themselves sometimes. They wonder if they are making the difference, or if they are doing enough. It's not easy being the odd man out or to stand up and have convictions about something when everyone else is going along with the crowd. If you don't have any words to say, a touch on the arm or shoulder, a pat on the back, a smile, or a spontaneous gift can go a long way.

Find ways to encourage someone. Do so sincerely. Receive encouragement yourself. Be open to moments when you can impact someone's life in a positive and gentle manner, or a profound way. I encourage you, my daughter, to embrace your life, and reach every height that you can! YOU CAN DO IT!!copyright 2006 Yoga Kat

Fast and Easy Guide How to Take Paid Surveys

This is a comprehensive guide to taking paid surveys – fast and easy rules that can make you more efficient, and help you earn more cash and prizes. If you wish to have the optimum strategy how to maximize your earnings with Paid Surveys , read further.

Build Realistic Expectations

It’s essential that you know in advance what you can really earn, and how long it can take you to achieve your earnings. You have to make the difference between the marketing hype to advertise certain paid survey websites, and the real story. To learn what you can earn, you need to experience taking Paid online surveys , and for that purpose – to subscribe to more than a few survey sites and check what they offer and how they reward you for your survey feedback. Some survey sites offer more prizes in freebies, free trials and lottery drawings. Others primarily pay cash, but might also offer less surveys per month. Anyway, having realistic expectations means experiencing paid surveys and deciding for yourself which paid survey opportunities best match your taste.

Expand Your Choices

As I already mentioned above, maximizing your earnings means – having the best strategy. With paid surveys, you need to rely on the number of surveys you complete to earn maximum cash. The more surveys you take, the more chances you have to earn a regular additional income from paid surveys. If you subscribe for only two survey sites, for instance, you might get 4 surveys from each in a lucky month, which will be 8 surveys, $5-$10 each, or some $40 to $80 in a month. However, in a bad month, you might get no survey at all from these two survey sites. What do you do then?

Expand your choices – subscribe to more than a few paid survey sites, and you will be able to make up the numbers if some of the survey sites offer no surveys for a period of time. The average number of surveys that a single survey site offers may vary from none to five or six. By having more options to get paid with surveys, you can earn steadier income.

Learn By Experience

As with many other jobs, in taking paid surveys you learn by experience. Many beginner survey takers quickly drop off either because they lack the patience to be consistent and grow proficient in taking surveys, or because they have unrealistic expectations. Learning by experiencing paid surveys is tremendously important – maybe a month or two will pass before you’re really good at selecting the paid survey sites that will bring you the greatest cash and prizes. Moreover, as you take surveys, you learn information that only paid survey insiders know. That will give you advantage in the future to earn more cash and prizes.

To learn by experience sometimes means getting burnt. However, there are ways to evade getting burnt in a paid survey scam. Paid surveys gurus usually advise to subscribe to a FREE survey site that requires no membership or prior investment of money. Once you have nothing to lose, you can enjoy taking paid surveys in the quantities and timeslots that you wish. Taking paid surveys can be tremendously easy and fun, and you can surely know how to earn money in a relaxed and enjoyable way!

Hot Job Listings for 2006!

Description:

According to recent reports here are the six areas where you can expect to find an above average number of openings.

Content:

Millions will be looking for job listings in 2006. It's a big help to know where the most openings occur.

Why?

Well, if you're new to the job market . . . or this is your first job . . . of it's time for you to get serious about making a change . . . then understanding where your are likely to find job openings can help you focus.

Even if you have no direct expertise in these careers, there are opportunities for transferable skills. These are your work-related capabilities and assets that have application no matter where you work. These would include managing, accounting, factory work, warehousing, consulting, finances, sales, etc.

According to recent reports here are the six areas where you can expect to find an above average number of openings:

1. Medical Assistance. The exploding health care industry simply doesn't have enough certified talent to go around. So there are unique opportunities to break into this industry if you're able to show how you can translate your capabilities into a response to employer needs.

2. Teaching. Because of the critical shortage, if you ever had a dream about becoming a teacher at any level the are fast lane certification programs to get you into the classroom ASAP. If you fancy yourself a teacher be prepared to think outside the traditional classroom.

3. Pharmacy Work. While it takes years to get the required degree and be certified as a pharmacist, there is an amazing array of technical support jobs that require only a minimum of technical training.

4. Retail Sales. The holiday season is a terrific time to break into retail sales on a part-time basis. Many of these jobs are converted into full-time after the holidays. Moreover, because the turnover is high, employers are offering flextime schedules and huge employee discounts, especially if your friendly and like being helpful to customers.

5. Consulting. Opportunities for corporate consulting are especially good in cost control and information technology. Local government and non-profits are using significantly more consultants to cut payroll costs.

6. Self-employment. If you like to be in control of your time and income, maybe this is the time to consider an entrepreneurial venture. But if you're not quite ready for your own business you can achieve a similar independence by working for a temp agency.

This is an incredibly good time to be in the job marketplace if you focus your attention on employment areas where you have a much better chance of landing a job.

Social Entrepreneurship Today!

Depending upon the way in which we choose to view it, the strengths or weaknesses of the concept of social entrepreneurship lie in the fact that most of its applications are in the form of a hybrid between private, non-profit and public sectors. As described, one such hybrid is found in non-profit organisations with an entrepreneurial offshoot that generates revenue for the organisation’s social objectives. With greater emphasis on the private, for-profit sector, a hybrid model is emerging whereby businesses lend money and expertise to non-profits. Increasingly, this latter model is linked to public pressure for businesses to demonstrate a measure of social responsibility.

The most realistic and desirable way for any business to be socially responsible is through what is called ‘‘strategic philanthropy’’ - selected giving in areas tied directly to the company’s interests and in arenas that the company can justly claim to have knowledge and a direct stake. The use of the term clearly suggests an indirect financial return on the philanthropic investment. Indeed, the exercise of traditional philanthropy does not make good business sense as it does not provide a tangible return. In a more refined consideration of types of philanthropy today, the notion of strategic philanthropy yet emphasises that highly motivated and visionary business leaders can bring together networks of organizations in new community ventures.

Like the term ‘‘strategic philanthropy’’, ‘‘social entrepreneurship’’ is an articulation, a combination of two concepts that do not naturally fit together and yet which seeks acceptance as common sense. It is the lack of a natural fit that renders the term open to resistance and challenge. Challenges, implicit or explicit, range from different interpretations of how the terms might justifiably be joined to denial that they should be used together at all.

Language is a key component in the shift towards rationalization of the concept of social entrepreneurship. This is because discourse acceptance precedes or runs in parallel with material acceptance. Thus we see the emergence of terms that were previously restricted to the business sector, such as ‘‘social venture capital’’, ‘‘social return on investment’’, ‘‘invest’’ rather than ‘‘donate’’, ‘‘revenue streams’’ and ‘‘client groups’’ applied to the social and public sectors.

If the colonisation of the social and public sectors by the language of business is accepted, the breakdown of barriers between the sectors becomes normalised. However, the terms cited are in contrast to the distinction between entrepreneurs who create social or artistic capital rather than financial capital, with social capital referring to that which is valuable to communities.

On the other hand, opposition could arise from the close association of the term ‘‘entrepreneur’’ with the creative and destructive aspects of capitalism. Those who are concerned about the negative aspects of business will be resistant to the blurring of the boundaries between public, private and civil society suggested by social entrepreneurship with the potential for increased influence of business beyond the private sector. The non-profit sector has long been associated with the creation and maintenance of a strong civil society. Marketing of that sector then calls that association into question with concerns for the viability of an independent civil society.

Furthermore, if business has the power to choose which non-profits are to benefit materially through socially entrepreneurial partnerships, what happens to those that are not chosen and therefore are marginalised?

A parallel can be drawn between the concept of social entrepreneurship and that of sustainability because sustainability is equally open to broad interpretation. Like social entrepreneurship, sustainability can favour either the social and environmental or the economic sectors, depending upon which model is adopted. Strong sustainability favours the social and environmental over economic development, upholding the social values of a truly civil society based social entrepreneurialism. Interpretations are derived from the beliefs and experiences of individuals. Social entrepreneurs and their work should ultimately be judged by the quality of the social outcomes, and that assessment should be made independently of the private interests of those entrepreneurs.

With concepts and movements such as social entrepreneurship, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility, it is crucial that we pay close attention to the persuasive uses of the terms as well as to their practical implication. All of them are contested, value-laden labels that can be used to reference a wide variety of interests, motives, activities and outcomes.
